Total Permanent Disability is an additional product from the insurance company Allianz which offers protection in the form of compensation if the insurance policyholder experiences total permanent disability due to illness or accident which results in loss of the ability to earn a living.

100% total permanent disability compensation due to accident or illness as a replacement for income if the insured loses limb function totally and permanently.

Terms and conditions
- Age of entry: 6 – 69 years.
- Maximum age of protection: 70 years.
- Amount of compensation: Minimum 20 Million up to a maximum of 100% of the value of basic life insurance (whichever is smaller) and still follow the underwriting provisions.
- Claim review period 180 days (does not apply to total permanent disability resulting in an amputation of the appropriate part listed in the policy).
- Exceptions apply according to the terms & conditions in the policy.
- Available in an accelerated version, where the amount of compensation reduces the value of the basic life benefit (protection period is up to 65 years old and there is no choice of protection period)
- Available in non sharia & sharia versions.
